The auction, on Thursday 2nd October at the King Power Stadium, will not only see Graham Penny Auctions’ Leicester auction room pass the £10m mark for total sales raised for clients, it will also see the gavel fall on its 100th property sale.

Carl Finch, Graham Penny Auctions Leicester branch manager, commented: “We’ve come a long way since we held our first auction in the city in October last year. To have raised over £10m for our clients is fantastic and is a clear indication to those looking to sell their property that the auction room is the place to get the best price.

And it’s not only vendors that benefit from auction sales. Our auction next month has 22 varied lots from across Leicestershire and the rest of the UK with something for every type of buyer. We have several residential properties ripe for landlords to add to their portfolio, there’s a couple of city centre commercial properties which have been generating a lot of interest. Plus we have development land, both with and without planning permission, with huge investment potential for the right buyers.”

Graham Penny Auctions dominates the region’s property auction market in terms of lots offered, lots sold and revenue raised and continues to stay well ahead of its rivals across the East Midlands. The next Leicester auction is taking place Thursday 2nd October at the King Power Stadium starting at 11.30am.

Carl added: “The benefits of buying at an auction is that it’s a transparent and secure process. If you’re the successful bidder you exchange contracts in the auction room and pay a 10 per cent deposit plus a £750 buyers fee. Then you complete in 21 days and the property is yours.”
