"This challenge isn’t about speed or distance, it’s about heart. Every mile cycled is a show of solidarity and a step closer to helping people rebuild their lives"

Industry charity, Agents Giving has announced the return of The Great British Property Cycle Challenge, which will take place throughout October 2025. The initiative is open to everyone and aims to raise funds for homelessness charity St Mungo’s.

Last year, the challenge raised £18,000. This year, participants are being encouraged with the call to action: “Be 1 in a Thousand – Ride Your Way to Make a Difference.”

There are no restrictions on how to take part. Road, mountain, spin, or static bikes all count towards the effort. Distances are flexible too, with both short and long rides contributing to the cause. Organisers stress that every contribution matters in helping St Mungo’s continue its work supporting people experiencing homelessness.

How to get involved

Participants can join in by:

Cycling any distance during October

Riding solo or as part of a group with friends, family, or colleagues

Raising funds of any amount, with every contribution making a difference

Creating a fundraising page at agentsgiving.org

“This challenge isn’t about speed or distance, it’s about heart. Every mile cycled is a show of solidarity and a step closer to helping people rebuild their lives,” said David Newnes, chairman of Agents Giving. “We’re asking the whole industry to come together this October to ride their way, and pedal with purpose.”

Jay Hunt, head of partnerships at St Mungo’s, added: “We are incredibly grateful to be the chosen charity partner for this year’s cycle challenge. Homelessness is rising at an alarming rate, with rough sleeping reaching record highs in some areas. Every rider, every donation, and every mile pedalled will directly help us in our mission to end homelessness and support people to rebuild their lives.”

Registration is now open. Supporters are encouraged to sign up, rally friends and colleagues, and take part throughout the month.
