Word On The Street has secured a £5.6 million buy-to-let facility from GB Bank for Danny Inman, owner of Prosperity Network, backed by four luxury new-build units in Cheshire. The transaction was completed at 75% LTV with a five-year fixed rate, offering long-term stability and predictable financing costs for the project.

Michael Street, founding partner at Word On The Street, oversaw the deal, navigating the complexities of a market where lender appetite for high-value new build stock has been limited.

The combination of asset type, loan size and LTV required careful positioning and lender selection, with GB Bank demonstrating confidence in both the quality of the properties and the client’s track record.

“This case exemplifies our ability to secure competitive institutional funding even when market conditions are difficult,” said Michael Street. “Four high-value new build units at 75% LTV in the current environment required both deep lender relationships and precise structuring to overcome limited appetite for this type of stock."

“GB Bank (Jake Baker) proved to be an excellent partner, recognising the quality of both the assets and the client’s profile as an established professional landlord."

"Word On The Street’s client base is evolving in line with our own growth, and we are seeing an increase in demand for larger loans and more complex requirements—which we have the in-house expertise to deliver on.”
