This news follows the multi-million-pound buyout of Macbryde Homes in September this year, led by MD Gwyn Jones and supported by Bridgemere UK, whose chairman is Redrow founder Steve Morgan.

The newly-named company is set to complete more than 200 homes this year, targeting major growth over the next five and benefiting from Bridgemere’s “strong financial backing”.

And the new moniker, Castle Green explained, reflected its commitment to deliver homes “fit for the future” - chiming with the government’s “green revolution” announcements - and represented the housebuilder’s 35-year history.

Castle Green is currently delivering homes across ten schemes and anticipates contracting on five new sites before the end of the year.

Gwyn Jones said: “We’re all excited at the prospect of rapidly increasing the number of new homes we build and becoming a major force in the region. Alongside this growth, we are fully committed to offering a market-leading customer journey and being the homebuilder of choice for new home buyers.”
