Specifically designed for lettings agents and aimed at imparting the importance of referencing in the lettings process, 18th November, 14th December and 16th December have been set aside to cater for those agents who were unsuccessful in securing a place on the debut date, plus further agents that may be interested in attending.

The course was developed by FCC Paragon’s in-house training department based on feedback from customers and their own customer care, referencing and sales departments.

Initial feedback from delegates suggests that the course content covered everything they would have expected on the subject of accurate tenant referencing, including why certain evidence, such as proof of identity and residency, is necessary and what may be required during the referencing process.

Delegates are given the opportunity to discuss the more common issues faced by agents as well as unique scenarios which arise from time to time.

Janie Gaston, General Manager, comments:

“In an ever changing market place, it is important that we share information and widen our knowledge.  Recent experience has proven that a small minority of applicants are lying on their applications in an endeavour to secure rental accommodation.  This course will help agents to protect their clients by reducing the risk of placing a rogue tenant into a property.”

Agents from throughout the UK are invited to attend the complimentary one day workshops which are held at FCC Paragon’s Head Office in Portsmouth.  Lunch is provided in the on-site restaurant and, for agents who may have to travel some distance, beneficial rates have been negotiated at local hotels.
