As a result of this deal, Berkeley Alexander can now offer mortgage brokers and financial advisors online access to three flexible home insurance products in addition to its existing panel. Following the trend Berkeley Alexander has set in the IFA/mortgage arena, these products along with the others on the panel are provided to IFAs and mortgage brokers with commission up to 27.5% but at the same premium rate as the insurers make available to the insurance broking sector, so BA’s agents can be confident that they will not be beaten on price against the same insurers quoted via the local high street broker.
The three new products available are:
- Seasons: an economy product providing buildings, contents and personal possession cover with low excesses
- Seasons Select: Towergate’s standard home insurance product
- Seasons Platinum: a mid net worth product with extra benefits including cover for higher than average sums insured and buildings up to the value of £750,000
