The catalogue for the auction, on Thursday 11th September at the iPro Stadium, features 84 varied lots including residential property, commercial property, land and others from across Derbyshire and the rest of the UK with guide prices starting from as little as £10,000+.

Graham Penny, director at Graham Penny Auctions, commented:

“The number of lots we have on offer in this auction highlights how the property market is continuing to improve and the traditionally slower summer months have not slowed it down.

“Our auction rooms are becoming increasingly busier and the number of remote bids on the telephone, by proxy and online is rising so with this catalogue, our biggest for two years, I’m anticipating a lively auction.”

Graham Penny Auctions dominates the region’s property auction market in terms of lots offered, lots sold and revenue raised and continues to stay well ahead of its rivals across the East Midlands. So far this year Graham Penny Auctions Derby has raised over £19.8m in sales for its clients and achieved an 85 per cent success rate.

Graham added:

“National reports indicate that property prices are continuing to rise which means it’s more important than ever to set your budget before you enter the auction room and do your homework by reading the legal pack and viewing the property.

“With the traditional method of auction we operate, our buyers pay only a £750 buyers fee along with their 10 per cent deposit on the fall of the gavel, they exchange contracts in the auction room and complete the sale only three weeks later. It’s a straightforward and transparent process.”
