"We anticipate a busy July auction, with some very focused and committed sellers looking to transact before the summer recess"

Allsop has released the catalogue for its upcoming July residential auction, featuring 318 lots spread across the UK. The sale will take place over two days, on 30 and 31 July, continuing the firm’s recent pattern of extended auction events.

The catalogue includes a broad range of residential and mixed-use investment opportunities, as well as development projects. Among the higher-value lots is a pair of freehold semi-detached buildings in Sutton, Surrey, which together comprise ten one-bedroom flats. The property carries a guide price of £2.1m+ and generates an annual income of £123,480.

The July sale follows a strong performance in June, when Allsop raised over £55m and achieved a success rate of nearly 80% across its two-day residential auction.

Highlights of the catalogue include Lot 14: Hatfield, Hertfordshire – a freehold detached six-bedroom house extending to approximately 3,606 sq ft, guided at £1.3m+, Lot 270: Newquay, Cornwall – an unbroken freehold building comprising 12 self-contained flats, producing £177,570 p.a., guided at £2m+, and Lot 164: Marylebone, London – a freehold block of 24 self-contained flats, guided at £2m+.

“Following the success of our two-day June sale where we raised more than £55m with a success rate of almost 80%, we are delighted to release our seventh dedicated residential catalogue of the year,” said Richard Adamson, managing partner and auctioneer at Allsop. “Over the past couple of months, we’ve seen more buyers returning to the market, albeit in a reasonably measured fashion. We anticipate a busy July auction, with some very focused and committed sellers looking to transact before the summer recess.”
