Reposit has announced that it is now available to tenants renting through letting agent Lang Llewellyn & Co, giving them greater choice over how they secure a new home.
The partnership will see Reposit offered across the agency's portfolio of around 1,000 rental properties in Cornwall. It reflects growing demand from agents for solutions that improve the renting experience while streamlining admin processes for landlords and property managers.
As landlords adapt to the Renters' Rights Act, many are placing greater emphasis on managing risk, driving increased interest in products that offer additional financial protection against damages and arrears.
"We've seen Reposit grow over the years, and following a review of our suppliers, it stood out as the right partner for us," said Rhiannon Llewellyn from Lang Llewellyn & Co. "As an agent with a sizeable student portfolio, we wanted a faster end-of-tenancy process, combined with greater choice for tenants."
"We're pleased to be working with Lang Llewellyn & Co to make Reposit available across its large portfolio in the South West," added Zoë Murphy, partnership sales associate at Reposit (pictured).
"Student renters are often significantly impacted by the high upfront costs when moving home, so offering a lower-cost way to secure a tenancy can make a real difference."
As an existing Goodlord customer, Lang Llewellyn & Co can offer Reposit through its tenancy process, with Reposit integrated into the Goodlord platform as its exclusive deposit replacement solution.
Eligible tenants can secure their tenancy with Reposit by paying a non-refundable fee equivalent to one week's rent, split between all tenants, rather than providing a five-week upfront deposit, which now averages £1,351. This is subject to successful referencing or the provision of a UK-based guarantor.
