Reapit, together with strategic partners HomeLet and Let Alliance, has rolled out full Vision+ integration within Reapit’s CRM. The integration includes the VISTA advanced tenant referencing solution and specialised pre-tenancy management tools. Agents can now access these services directly through Reapit’s interface, eliminating the need to switch platforms and reducing the time spent on referencing and pre-tenancy processes.

VISTA joins a suite of HomeLet and Let Alliance services available through Vision+, including rent guarantee policies, broadband and media services, utilities, removals, and other insurance products.

The launch of VISTA comes at a time when agents are handling more applicants per property than ever before.

Reducing tenancy risk

Rightmove’s Q2 2025 Rental Trends Tracker reports that the average rental property now receives 11 enquiries, more than double the 5 received in 2019. The National Residential Landlord Association also highlights the risks posed by forged documents, false employment details, and manipulated financial records. Agents without robust tenant referencing tools face a heavier workload to identify suitable tenants.

Using the Vision+ Reapit integration, agents benefit from a subscription-free, automated workflow that mirrors standard pre-tenancy stages. Each step, including the applicant offer process, referencing, document verification, tenancy offer, and collection of move-in funds, is prompted within Reapit, removing the need to duplicate data across systems.

VISTA, accessible directly in Reapit through Vision+, completes over 70% of references on the same day while flagging more than 150 potential fraud cases daily. The platform combines AI-powered fraud detection, open banking analysis of tenant finances,

Experian data, HMRC integration, and national fraud databases such as the Credit Industry Fraud Avoidance System. It identifies income discrepancies, verifies employment legitimacy, and assesses affordability based on real-time financial data rather than relying solely on income-to-rent ratios.

The integration delivers a comprehensive view of tenant reliability while simplifying the management of pre-tenancy and referencing tasks.

Income for agents, protection for landlords

Agents using HomeLet and Let Alliance services through Vision+ can earn up to £300 per property per year. Rent guarantee policies, in particular, are growing rapidly, with year-on-year increases exceeding 400% in both July and August.

With the Renters’ Rights Bill approaching, agencies are seeking ways to protect themselves against unpaid rent. The HomeLet and Let Alliance policies are held by the agent and cover both landlord income and agency fees, providing a clear advantage for agencies offering these services to landlords.

“It’s a tough market for our customers, every professional letting agent in the country has their eye on risk management, cost control, and revenue growth,” said Mike Dawson, head of sales at HomeLet and Let Alliance.

“Our platform is free to use. It provides agents with end-to-end pre-tenancy management, and through our new strategic partnership, will provide that journey within the Reapit platform, removing the need to manage processes across both. Providing optimal value to letting agents is at the heart of what we do. This was very important to Reapit when deciding on who to partner with,” Dawson added.

“We know from conversations with customers and other agents that landlords are anxious about the changes the Renters’ Rights Bill will bring to the market,” explained Dr Neil Cobbold, commercial director at Reapit (pictured).

“The most important step is finding the right tenant, which is why we’ve partnered with HomeLet and Let Alliance to bring their powerful VISTA tenant referencing tech to Reapit through Vision+, in addition to their other high-value services. We know agents need tools that save time, reduce risk, and help them protect their income. This enhanced integration does all three, right where they need it: inside Reapit,” Cobbold noted.
