The enhanced panel will be available through the Sterling Investment Bond, the Sterling Investment Account and ISA, and Zurich's retail pensions.

Nine new funds will enable advisers to offer their clients more choice when creating diversified portfolios. New funds include the Baring Emerging Markets and Aberdeen Emerging Market funds that aim to achieve long-term capital growth through direct and indirect investment in emerging stock markets.

Specialist offerings include the First State Global Listed Infrastructure fund, which aims to deliver capital growth and inflation protected income, by investing in a global portfolio of listed infrastructure (such as airports, ports and toll roads) and infrastructure related securities.

Mark Peters, Investment Proposition Manager for Zurich UK Life said:

"All the market indicators point towards increased investor confidence and to meet this need, we have focused on enhancing our fund range to strengthen our offering across important growth sectors.

"We regularly review our fund range to ensure it continues to offer comprehensive choice to suit different appetites to risk and provide real value for both customers and advisers."
