
Alan qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1972 and became a Fellow of the RICS in 1983. During his career, he has been Assistant Chief Building Surveyor at the London Borough of Southwark, Chief Building Surveyor at Bexley Council, Partner with a large Estate Agency/Surveying firm in Croydon/Kent before finally joining TGS in April 2007.
As one of the most experienced surveyors at TGS, Alan's extensive knowledge of all aspects of survey and valuation work will allow him to offer valuable support and advice to the team of surveyors. His new role will also see him become TGS’ primary contact with the RICS.
On his appointment, Alan comments:
“I am looking forward to the challenges that my new role will bring, whilst still performing my day to day surveying duties. I hope to make use of my experience and this, coupled with my MA degree in Management Studies, should stand me in good stead.”
Kate Steward started in the Finance Department with Badger Holdings in May 2006 before transferring to Tyser Greenwood Surveyors in 2008. Her promotion to the role of Operations Manager will challenge Kate to maintain the high client service standards that TGS pride themselves on and acting as the main liaison with Key Business Partners.
