The UK’s largest independent estate agent opened the doors to the branch at 281 Barking Road in Plaistow following a £25,000 investment in the premises.
This has included new fascias, walls and carpets together with state of the art computer and telephone systems. The branch comes with a break out area where customers can discuss their needs in a more relaxed, informal environment.
The opening of the Plaistow branch forms part of an ambitious programme of growth by haart across the capital. haart is currently investing some £5m to re-affirm its position as ‘the estate agent of choice’ for people looking to buy, sell, let or rent. This is encapsulated in a new strapline – ‘Always your best interests at haart’.
Heading up the branch is David Karrass. An estate agent in East London for over 15 years, he is assisted by Matthew Gardner, as Assistant Branch Manager. Matthew has worked for the company for over 15 years. They are supported by Paul Long, Senior Negotiator and the latest addition to the team, George Skaros, Negotiator. Between them they have well over 30 years experience in estate agency.
David Karrass, Branch Manager for haart of Plaistow, said:
"The response from the public to the opening of haart has been extremely positive. People really seem to like the branding, which is very different from other estate agents in Plaistow, and this is already being reflected in the number of requests we are receiving for valuations in the area - which is way above what we forecasted."
