The Milton Keynes meeting will take place at Jurys Inn, Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes MK9 2HP on Wednesday 21st April 2010. The Tyne & Wear forum will be held at the Holiday Inn Washington, Emerson, District 6, Washington, Tyne & Wear NE37 1LB on Tuesday 27th April 2010.

As usual both forums begin at 10.30am and will finish at 13.00pm, free parking is available at both venues and all attendees will be provided with lunch.

Bridgewater staff will facilitate both meetings and the forums provide advisers with the opportunity to discuss current issues within the equity release market. Subjects likely to be discussed include: how best to market your equity release business; lead generation; home reversion plans and their place in the sector, and the impending full regulation of the sale and rent back market.

Places at both the Milton Keynes and Tyne & Wear Forums are strictly limited and those advisers wishing to register or enquire about the event should phone Alison Stephenson on 0191-269 5982 or e-mail: astephenson@bridgewaterequityrelease.co.uk

Peter Welch, Head of Sales and Distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, commented:

“We continue to work our way across the country with our Equity Release Forums which are always well-attended and well-received. Advisers involved in the sector are keen to discuss the market with their peers and colleagues, and often seek insight into how best they can position their own advisory services in this area.

"These meetings also gives Bridgewater a chance to provide marketing and sales help and information, while presenting the potential benefits and suitability of home reversion plans to advisers, at a time when a number of lifetime mortgage providers have left the marketplace.

“We are sure our next two forums in Milton Keynes and Tyne & Wear will be over-subscribed so those advisers wanting to attend should contact us as soon as possible.  There is a growing demand for equity release products, and with the forthcoming full regulation of sale and rent back products it is vitally important that advisers are fully briefed on all available options.

"Clients will expect knowledge and experience from their adviser and these forums can often provide help and support which can be of significant benefit to both the adviser themselves and their client base.

"The Bridgewater team look forward to meeting the local broker community at these meetings next month.”

Bridgewater Equity Release recently finished runner-up in the ‘Best Equity Release Provider’ category at the MyIntroducer.com 2010 Industry Awards.
