
BHH offers three mortgage products, all of which must be secured on property in Spain (mainland Spain, Canaries and Balearic islands):
- Purchase: for UK clients buying a Spanish property
- Capital Raise: for UK clients who wish to raise funds from 'mortgage free' Spanish property
- Switch and Save: for UK clients who have used a Spanish lender to buy a Spainish property
Main features of Spanish mortgages:
Property location - Spain, Canaries and Balearic islands
Purpose - purchase, remortgage, investment purchase or capital raising
Repayment type - interest only or repayment, fixed rate and tracker products are available
Term - up to 25 years, to maximum age 70
Minimum loan - 50,000 euros
Minimum property value - 90,000 euros
Currency - all loans in euros, all documentation in English (with the exception of the mortgage deed, which has to be in Spanish for legal reasons)
