The DPR origination solution provides Aldermore’s intermediaries with a rich, easy to use web portal that includes KFI production, online AIP/DIP, electronic submission of applications and comprehensive case tracking and commission handling tools.

Behind the scenes, DPR’s Assisted Underwriting technology orchestrates every aspect of application processing as new cases pass through the system, using advanced workflow, rules and direct links to valuers, credit bureaux and other third party systems to automate and streamline the process, accelerating time to completion and minimising the cost of acquiring new business.

Where manual work is required, such as checking the applicant’s proof of income, the DPR solution automatically allocates and monitors tasks to ensure a speedy and efficient completion of each case and a smooth transition into account administration.

DPR’s integrated mortgage servicing solution automates many of the primary servicing functions, and also includes a dedicated Collector’s Workbench for special servicing. This proactively monitors customer activity and automatically selects and executes the appropriate collections strategy for each arrears episode based on a range of factors including payment history, credit bureau data, risk and exposure.

Workflow, rules and smart task management ensure that a consistent, fair and totally compliant process is followed at all times, with the audit and detailed MI required to satisfy regulatory reporting needs and deliver strong evidence for court proceedings should the need arise.

Paul Myers, Chief Operating Officer, Aldermore, says:

“Choosing the right technology partner has been critical to our ability to deliver against our long term strategy. DPR were selected not just because they have the best technology, but because they have instilled the need to be agile at the heart of everything they do, from the design of their components to their project methodology.

"This has been the key to making this project work, and the fact that we have gone from a standing start to full live operation of both origination and servicing in less than six months is a testament to the quality of DPR’s solution both technically and in terms of their approach.”

Adrian Tilley, Head of IT & Transformation, Aldermore, says:

“We found DPR’s proposition to be the most compelling of any vendor in terms of breadth of features and value for money. The ease of use and process automation really do speed things up, meaning we can do more in less time with fewer bodies. No more re-keying, no more photocopying documents - everything is online and the brokers can help themselves to forms and upload paperwork that they’ve scanned themselves.

"Our internal users can see in one place exactly what tasks they need to be working on, and the team leaders get a top down view showing pipeline activity and customer activity as it flows through the system, so they can anticipate bottlenecks and act quickly to avoid missing the SLAs that we have in place.

"It’s refreshing to work with a technology partner that has so much business expertise and real experience and which is so focused on project delivery. DPR have repeatedly exceeded our expectations and we look forward to planning other projects with them.”

Dave Patel, Managing Director, DPR Consulting, says:

“We are delighted to welcome Aldermore as a DPR client and proud to have delivered what we believe is the most complete, technically advanced and cost-effective mortgage processing and servicing solution in the UK. They have exciting and ambitious plans for the future, and we look forward to building on this successful project as they go forward.”
