Rent-to-buy provider Keyzy has expanded its London portfolio with an entire residential block in Wandsworth, as it scales a model designed to help renters overcome the challenge of saving for a home deposit.

The move marks significant expansion as Keyzy enters its third year, with Springfield Village now the fourth London development where it operates.

The Wandsworth scheme is centred on one complete block called Beech House. It totals 22 new homes across 17,000 sq ft and comprises 18 two-bedroom and four one-bedroom apartments in a two-storey residential building.

Rents start from £2,200 a month for a one-bedroom and £2,500 a month for a two-bedroom. Buy later prices start from £625,000, or £572,200 after rent is credited back.

Built by developer London Square, the homes are all offered through Keyzy's rent-to-buy model, which lets aspiring homeowners rent a property before purchasing it after a two-year term. The full amount paid in rent is then credited against the future purchase price, helping customers overcome the deposit barrier to homeownership. The monthly rental cost is locked in for two years, and the purchase price is decided on day one.

Springfield Village is a landmark mixed-use development in south-west London, delivering more than 1,200 homes in total alongside 32 acres of new parkland, community facilities and retail space, all within easy reach of Tooting Bec and Earlsfield stations.

This latest expansion marks a further step in Keyzy's growth strategy as the business scales its rent-to-buy model and continues to make use of a £130m funding programme secured last year. Keyzy focuses on neighbourhoods where demand from first-time buyers continues to outstrip affordability, helping young professionals and key workers access homeownership.

"Springfield Village is exactly the kind of neighbourhood we want to showcase," said Jeremy Matallah, co-founder of Keyzy. "It's a fantastic development in an area where many people can comfortably afford market rents but struggle to save the deposit needed to buy.

"Our model bridges that gap. By allowing customers to put two years' rent towards a deposit, we're giving more Londoners a realistic pathway into homeownership while creating long-term value for our investment partners.

"This is our fourth London development and demonstrates the momentum we've built in just three years as we continue to grow our portfolio."
