Specialist lender Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has enhanced its semi-commercial lending proposition, introducing a new pricing band for loans between £250,000 and £1 million with rates from 6.64%, alongside a new 65% loan-to-value range with rates from 6.24%.
The changes follow a review of HTB's semi-commercial proposition and reflect the bank's ongoing focus on giving brokers access to lending solutions suited to today's specialist property market.
The dedicated £250,000 to £1 million pricing band, combined with the new 65% LTV range, gives brokers greater choice across loan sizes and LTVs when placing semi-commercial cases. It also continues to support the broad range of mixed-use investment transactions seen across the specialist market. Both pricing options are available immediately across HTB's semi-commercial proposition.
"Regular proposition reviews are an important part of how we operate as a specialist lender," said Alex Upton, managing director of specialist mortgages and bridging finance at Hampshire Trust Bank (pictured).
"Semi-commercial continues to be an important part of the conversations we're having with brokers, and those conversations continue to evolve. We're seeing a broad range of mixed-use cases coming through, and it's important that our proposition adapts to support them.
"We've focused our pricing changes where they'll make the biggest difference for brokers, while continuing to provide the specialist underwriting expertise and certainty they expect from Hampshire Trust Bank.
"Those conversations help shape how we continue to develop our proposition, ensuring we're investing in the areas that matter most to brokers and their clients."
