International students and renters relocating to the UK are set to find it easier to secure accommodation following a new partnership between flatfair and student housing specialist Flaties.

The tie-up makes flatfair's No Deposit and Tenant Guarantor solutions available to Flaties customers, targeting two of the most common obstacles to securing rental accommodation: the upfront cost of a traditional tenancy deposit and the need for a qualifying UK-based guarantor.

Both barriers are particularly acute for international students, who often arrive with limited UK credit history, no local guarantor, and significant relocation costs already in hand.

"At flatfair, we're focused on removing the financial and administrative barriers that make renting harder than it should be," said Aaron Lawrence, flatfair's head of sales (pictured).

"Partnering with Flaties allows us to support even more students and renters through our No Deposit and Tenant Guarantor solutions, creating a simpler and more flexible renting experience."

flatfair's No Deposit product allows tenants to move into a property without paying a traditional cash deposit, helping them hold onto more funds for moving expenses and day-to-day living costs. The Tenant Guarantor solution, meanwhile, supports renters who cannot provide a suitable UK-based guarantor, a common challenge for those arriving from overseas.

Flaties specialises in student accommodation, temporary housing, and long-term rentals, alongside a range of support services designed to help students transition into life in the UK. The company works with students and international renters throughout the relocation process, from securing accommodation to settling into new surroundings.

"We're thrilled to officially partner with flatfair," said Qutaiba Alenezi, director at Flaties. "Our residents are going to love what we have in store together. This partnership is all about delivering a better experience for tenants and helping make renting more accessible and stress-free."

By combining flatfair's tenancy products with Flaties' accommodation and relocation services, the two companies aim to reduce friction at move-in and broaden access to housing for renters navigating an increasingly complex rental market.

The partnership reflects a wider shift across the sector towards more flexible, tenant-focused solutions at a stage in the rental journey where the financial pressure on renters tends to be highest.
