Property Buyers Today analysed HM Land Registry data to identify the UK's most expensive Christmas-themed street names, examining houses sold between 2020 and 2025 on roads featuring festive words like Christmas, stocking, reindeer, elf, snow, and tinsel.
Streets containing 'Christmas' top the rankings with an average sale price of £601,978, representing a 121.7% increase from the national average of £271,531. The highest sale on a Christmas-named street reached £2,750,000 in Guildford. A property in Ware sold for £1,942,500, while Slough recorded a £1,605,000 sale.
'Stocking' streets rank second with average prices of £473,427, marking a 74.4% premium over the national average. Loughborough recorded the highest sale at £1,395,000. Saffron Walden followed with transactions at £1,295,000 and £875,000.
Properties on 'wreath' streets average £459,167, a 69.1% increase from the national figure. Chard dominated sales with the three highest transactions at £572,500, £485,000, and £320,000.
Streets featuring 'ice' command an average of £452,167, 66.5% above the national baseline. Sidmouth led with sales of £850,000, £760,000, and £595,000.
'Snow' streets average £442,758, representing a 63.1% premium. The top transaction reached £1,065,000 in Diss, followed by £690,000 in Dunmow and £650,000 in Sudbury.
Homes on 'frost' streets cost an average of £439,453, sitting 61.8% above the national average. Beaconsfield recorded the three highest sales at £875,000, £865,000, and £715,000.

Streets containing 'elf' average £372,500, a 37.2% increase over the national figure. Cirencester saw the three highest transactions at £645,000, £420,000, and £305,000.
'Midwinter' streets average £369,000, marking a 35.9% premium. All three top sales occurred in Welling at £490,000, £423,000, and £402,500.
Properties on 'winter' streets sell for an average of £350,342, 29.0% above the national average. Wantage recorded the highest sale at £706,000, while Epsom followed with £685,000 and £637,500.
'Poinsettia' streets command an average of £311,000, 14.5% above the national average. Fareham saw the three highest sales at £360,000, £342,000, and £328,000.
Streets featuring 'tinsel' average £276,250, just 1.7% above the national figure. Dewsbury recorded the two highest sales at £277,500 and £275,000.
However, not all festive names boost property values. 'Icy' streets average £238,875, falling 12.0% below the national average. The highest sale reached £295,500 in Kingsbridge.
'Yule' streets sell for an average of £236,312, 13.0% below the national average. Properties on 'advent' streets average £222,750, while 'reindeer' streets average £204,376.
