London-based estate agency and part of the Campions Group, Chestertons, has strengthened its landlord support ahead of the upcoming Renters’ Rights Act by securing official accreditation for its specialist training programme, The Changing Rental Landscape, from the Continuing Professional Development Certification Services.

The programme is thought to be the first in the UK estate agency sector to gain CPD accreditation specifically focused on the new legislation. This recognition reinforces Chestertons’ commitment to delivering advice to landlords through verified professional standards.

Accreditation was granted after the training met strict requirements in structure, relevance, and quality of delivery. Landlords can now be confident that Chestertons’ teams hold verified, current knowledge to navigate one of the most significant regulatory changes in the private rental sector in recent years.

The achievement reflects Chestertons’ broader investment in professional development across its lettings network. In 2025, the agency delivered 46 dedicated Renters’ Reform Bill training sessions, equipping teams to support both landlords and tenants during the regulatory transition.

The CPD recognition signals that Chestertons’ staff are prepared to address the practical and legal challenges that landlords face as the Renters’ Rights Act comes into effect.

46 training sessions were delivered in 2025 to prepare staff for the Renters’ Reform Bill.

Chestertons is believed to be the first UK agency to secure CPD accreditation for training specifically on the upcoming legislation.

The CPD accreditation covers structure, relevance, and quality of delivery, ensuring guidance meets verified professional standards.

Richard Davies, managing director of Chestertons, said, "The rental sector is entering a period of major change, and it is essential that landlords can rely on informed, professional guidance."

"Achieving internal CPD accreditation demonstrates our commitment to equipping our teams with the highest level of training so they can support landlords with clarity, confidence and compliance. This achievement builds on the continued investment in the growth of our people with the support of a dedicated Learning and Development team to focusing on career and professional development across its business.”
