12 winners from across letting, sales, commercial property and auctioneering who achieved the highest overall marks in their chosen qualification were honoured at an industry event in Coventry.

The ceremony was held to acknowledge the dedication and commitment shown by all professionals who achieved one of the property qualifications offered by the NFoPP Awarding Body and in particular to award individual trophies to those who achieved the highest grades. The event – which was sponsored by MOL, Agent Assure and Olivetti – was attended by nearly 100 agents from across the sector as well as representatives from the NFoPP Awarding Body Examination Board, fellow organisations, such as Pearson Vue and also Asset Skills, the Sector Skills Council.

The NFoPP Awarding Body offers qualifications across a range of property specialisms and across varying levels including: Residential Letting and Property Management; Sale of Residential Property; Commercial Property Agency and Auctioneering and Valuation. The qualifications are well recognised by employers and professional membership bodies as assuring an agent meets necessary industry standards.

Venetia Knight, Head of Qualifications, said:

“I would like to congratulate everyone who achieved one of the Property Qualifications offered by the NFoPP Awarding Body – it is no mean feat and a testament to the industry’s determination to uphold professional standards. It is heartening to see so many candidates achieving these qualifications and particular credit should go to those who received the special awards for the highest achievement across their chosen subject areas.

“Gaining a professional qualification not only enhances the career of the individual, but also works to improve the reputation of agencies and the profession as a whole by giving consumers confidence in the calibre and expertise of their agents. In a challenging and competitive marketplace it is more important than ever to ensure relevant skills and learning are captured and acknowledged through qualifications.”
