Aldermore has announced that it has reduced rates within its special edition buy-to-let range for product switches.

The changes are available immediately for existing customers switching products. Individuals and company landlords with single residential investment properties can now access a 2-year fixed special edition rate at 70% LTV with zero fee, cut by 0.35% to 6.44%.

Jon Cooper, director of mortgages at Aldermore (pictured), said the lender wants to deliver real value for brokers and their landlord clients. "We're committed to delivering real value for brokers and their landlord clients, whether they're buying their first investment property or reviewing their existing borrowing," he said.

Brokers need a wide range of options to help clients achieve their goals, Cooper added. "We know brokers need a wide range of options to help their clients achieve their goals, and these rate cuts give brokers access to more competitive solutions in today's market."
