Property professionals across the UK are being encouraged to take part in this year’s Agents Giving Day on Thursday, 19th June, by organising food collection drives in support of their local food banks.

Led by the industry’s own charity, Agents Giving, and supported by The Guild of Property Professionals and Relocation Agent Network, the campaign calls on agents, offices, and businesses to step up in response to the growing number of families facing food insecurity.

According to the latest Trussell Trust report, food banks distributed 2.9 million emergency food parcels in the past year, equivalent to one every 11 seconds, with over 1 million going to children. The figures highlight the urgent need for community-led support.

How to Get Involved:

Organise a food collection at your office anytime that works for your team.

Donate essential food items directly to your nearest food bank.

Encourage colleagues, clients, and local partners to contribute.

Share photos of your collection efforts with Agents Giving.

Register your participation to highlight the food bank you’re supporting.

Last year’s campaign saw thousands of items donated across the UK. This year, the charity is aiming even higher—with more agents, offices, and communities taking part.

David Newnes, Chairman of Agents Giving, said, “We’re asking the property industry to rally once again. Even a small donation can have a significant impact for those facing hunger locally. Let’s make this our biggest Agents Giving Day yet.”
