Accord cuts buy-to-let remortgage rates by up to 0.18%

Accord Mortgages is cutting selected buy-to-let and residential mortgage rates by up to 0.18%, with BTL remortgage products at 75% LTV among those seeing the largest reductions.

Accord Mortgages is reducing rates across selected products in its buy-to-let and residential mortgage ranges by up to 0.18%, with the changes taking effect from 8am on Thursday 13 August.

The intermediary-only lender is cutting its buy-to-let two- and five-year remortgage products at up to 75% LTV by up to 0.18%, the steepest reductions in the refresh. Accord is also extending buy-to-let product end dates alongside the rate changes.

Within the buy-to-let range, a two-year fixed remortgage rate at 60% LTV falls from 4.95% to 4.77%, coming with a £995 fee, free standard valuation and remortgage legal work. At 75% LTV, a two-year fixed remortgage rate drops from 4.98% to 4.85% on the same fee and valuation terms. The five-year fixed remortgage equivalent at 75% LTV moves from 5.09% to 4.91%, also with a £995 fee, free standard valuation and remortgage legal work included.

On the residential side, fixed-rate products at up to 75% LTV are falling by up to 0.10%, while house purchase deals above 80% LTV are being cut by up to 0.11% and remortgage options above 80% LTV by up to 0.05%.

Among the residential highlights, a five-year fixed remortgage rate at 65% LTV drops from 5.11% to 5.01%, with no fee, free standard valuation and remortgage legal work. A two-year fixed purchase rate at 75% LTV falls from 5.05% to 4.95%, carrying a £495 fee and free standard valuation. At 85% LTV, a five-year fixed purchase rate moves from 5.02% to 4.91%, also with a £495 fee and free standard valuation.
