The plan was to climb the peaks of Snowdon, Tryfan, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan which have a combined height of 3,782 metres above sea level.
The agents were joined by seven Cardiff University CoppaFeel! Society students, as well as family and friends, to raise money for the charity which works to increase the early detection of breast cancer by educating young people.
The team braved miserable weather and aching limbs during their tiring 28 mile journey but were rewarded with some sunshine at the conclusion of their adventure.
So far £3,200 has been raised but more money is continuing to roll in. The event would not have been possible without the Rightmove Fund which is available to estate agents to cover organisational costs. A generous £422 grant, administered by the industry charity for lettings and estate agents, Agents Giving, was used to pay for the hire of the 17 seater mini-bus which transported the team to their starting point.
Peter Knight, Chairman at Agents Giving comments: “This is exactly the sort of way we want to see the Rightmove Fund used and it illustrates why the fund is so important because without it, the Welsh 4 Peaks Mountains Challenge would have been unable to take place. This challenge should inspire other agents to raise money for charity and also to use the Rightmove Fund if they need help with the set-up costs of an event.”
