Paramount were presented with five awards in total by six-time world champion Paula Radcliffe MBE at the awards ceremony on Friday 12 June at the Lancaster London Hotel.
Over 5,000 offices were represented this year and Paramount beat notable competition from lettings agencies ranging in size from small businesses to large corporates to take home the overall award for Best Lettings Agency in the UK. The win demonstrates that in a busy market place small businesses can compete against larger companies in the race to provide the best service.
Now in its sixth year as a dedicated competition, the awards recognise and reward best practice in the lettings industry. Award winners were decided following a rigorous and thorough judging process by a panel of 20 industry experts who assessed initial entry submissions before conducting an extensive review of the entrants, which included over 150 hours of telephone interviews and independent mystery shopping exercises.
The whole of the judging process was overseen by The Property Ombudsman, Christopher Hamer, and David Cox, Managing Director designate of ARLA acted as Arbiter.
The judges described Paramount as ‘an outstanding team focused organisation with a culture of collaboration’. They explained that ‘both landlords and tenants can feel confident that the service they receive will be personal and bespoke’.
Paramount Lettings Director, Spencer Lawrence, said: “It’s extremely empowering for Paramount to be recognised as the best Lettings Agency in the UK by a diverse range of industry experts at the top of their respective fields. These awards rubber stamp our belief that through innovation, collaboration and by working to the best of our ability every single day we’re able to provide the best possible service to our customers.”
