The catalogue – for the auction on Thursday 15th May at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham – features 53 varied lots including residential property, commercial property, land and others from across Nottinghamshire and the rest of the UK with guide prices starting from only £5,000 for a plot of land in Langley Mill through to £280,000 for a care home in Chesterfield.

Vejay Pal, senior valuer at Graham Penny Auctions Nottingham, commented: “Our auction in May is being held in conjunction with the East Midlands Landlord and Letting Agent Expo and that has clearly helped us pull together a strong catalogue of investment properties ideal for the hundreds of landlords and letting agents that will attend the event.

“Interest in our lots is already high with dozens of viewings on some of the properties and many receiving offers already. I’m anticipating some enthusiastic bidding in the auction room next month which should lead to some impressive sales figures and happy vendors.”

Included in the catalogue for the Thursday 15th May auction is:

• 12 Brunts Lane in East Bridgford – a two bedroomed detached bungalow in desirable village location with open views to the front and rear aspects. The guide price is £150,000+

• 189 Derby Road in Long Eaton – a three bedroomed Victorian quarter-house with accommodation over three floors. An ideal investment opportunity, previously let at £495 per month (£5,940 per annum). The guide price is £45,000+

• A potential Building Plot to the rear of 29 Oak Drive in Nuthall – with previous planning permission granted for construction of a two bedroomed detached bungalow. The guide price is £55,000+

• 2 Mettham Street in Lenton – a traditional four bedroomed three storey end-terraced property currently housed as five student bedsits, generating an annual income of approximately £14,040. The property also has fitted smoke alarms and fire doors. The guide price is £110,000+

• 76 Trowell Grove in Trowell - a deceptively-spacious extended four bedroomed semi-detached property. The guide price is £195,000+

The Graham Penny Auctions Nottingham May auction is taking place as part of the East Midlands Landlord & Letting Agent Expo, a free one day event set to be attended by over a thousand landlords, letting agents and property investors and featuring an extensive programme of seminars and speaker presentations alongside an exhibition of more than 70 companies from suppliers to professional advisors and local authorities.
