Organised by Auction Finance's director, Scott Hendry, the day brought together individuals, businesses and organisations that use the company’s various lending products to help fund their commercial and residential investment property purchases at auction.

The day included a two-hour shooting session followed by a buffet and awards ceremony, with trophies for ‘best team’ and ‘best individual score’, plus a consolation prize for the team that shot the least clays.

Scott Hendry, director at Auction Finance, commented:

"We like to engage in activities with our clients away from the traditional work setting. Client relationships are imperative to our business and these types of events allow us to absorb feedback and suggestions in an informal setting and have open and honest
conversations away from the hustle and bustle of the workplace.

"It's not all business though of course, our client days are always fun, productive and for many - competitive!”

Congratulations to the winners; Charissa Chang from Auction Finance, David Pank and James Pank from Auction House Leeds, Matthew Moore from Edwards Moore, Daniel Mayer from Auction House Staffordshire and Pete O’Malley from Afford Bond won the ‘Best Team’ trophy.  John Dawes from Mark Jenkinson Auctions deservedly walked away with the ‘Best Individual’ trophy, achieving the highest score on the day.

Auction Finance will be hosting other events throughout the second half of 2014 to coincide with its ten years of lending celebrations.

Loans from Auction Finance typically vary from £20,000 to £3m, with an average loan size of £67,500. Funds can be transferred just 24 hours after completion. Auction Finance was recently named Supplier of the Year in the Products for Funding category at the Landlord and Letting Awards 2013. It is also a finalist for E3 Business of The Year Awards, with the winner announced in September 2014.
