"This year we have seen a huge demand for UK staycations with a 25% increase in bookings at the start of 2019"
Between January to March 2019 there were a total of 2 million self-catering rental stays across England and the masterclasses have been set up for those considering a holiday let to learn the tricks of the trade.
The series of two and a half hour long masterclasses will allow owners to gain knowledge and insights from the Mulberry Cottages experts on how to run a successful holiday let, covering marketplace trends to practical must-dos.
The events will be held at five Mulberry Cottages properties:
- Kent: 10am – 12:30pm or 2pm – 4:30pm on 10th September at Customs House, Faversham
- Sussex: 10am – 12:30pm or 2pm – 4:30pm on 17th September at The Mission House, Warninglid
- Cotswolds: 10am – 12:30pm or 2pm – 4:30pm on 3rd October at The Dairy, near Chipping Norton
- Dorset: 10am – 12:30pm or 2pm – 4:30pm on 15th October at The Gate House, Wimborne Minster
- Hampshire: 10am – 12:30pm or 2pm – 4:30pm on 16th October at Roegate House, Romsey
Rebekah England, head of property at Mulberry Cottages, said: “Our first holiday let masterclass was a huge success, we saw attendees travel from across the UK to join us. Due to its popularity, we are launching a series of more intimate, round table masterclasses across the South of England to give prospective owners an opportunity to learn from the experts. Attendees will gain the best advice on how to run a successful holiday let and witness real life owner stories.
“This year we have seen a huge demand for UK staycations with a 25% increase in bookings at the start of 2019, compared to 2018, proving that now is a fantastic time to let your property to holidaymakers.”
