2plan launches 'Horizon' client portal

2plan Wealth Management announces the launch of its new client portal, ‘Horizon’, which provides secure online access to personal policy details and valuations direct from product providers.

Chris Smallwood, chief executive of 2plan wealth management, explains:

“Whilst many firms use websites simply as a ‘cheap’ way of servicing lower-revenue clients, the Horizon portal service is aimed at giving added service to high-net worth clients as an integral part of their ongoing service agreement.

"This not only enhances the communication exchange between advisers and their clients but also provides a powerful client-retention tool - complementing the overall advice process”.

Horizon is available to all 2plan’s member clients who choose an ongoing fee-based premium service. Each individual client receives a unique password which enables them to have 24/7 access to their own portfolio and valuation information, direct from providers.
 
Key features of Horizon include:

- Aggregated policy summary views on a sector by sector basis, with instant online updating

- Detailed policy information including up to date status with user-definable names and policy references

- On-demand provider valuations, including views of fund breakdown, fund units/values and graphical representation of fund allocation

- Direct links to the client’s own adviser website and contact details

Smallwood continues:

“This first-stage launch will allow clients to have full policy portfolio views including fund information and e-valuations, but we also have some exciting future developments underway which will increase functionality even further”.
