1. What does Part Exchange Register offer?

Part Exchange Register is a new ‘matching’ service, which enables agents to generate additional property sales, by bringing vendors and buyers together, in a more targeted and effective way.

Part Exchange Register creates property matches between an agent’s vendors and those of other agents, as well as matching vendors to new homes from a national network of property developers.

2. What makes Part Exchange Register different?

Part Exchange Register enables estate agents to offer a unique, added-value service to their vendors and provides another sales channel.  It is ideal for agents who are looking to secure new sales opportunities.

It also gives vendors the opportunity for a quicker sale and no-chain transaction.

The software behind the website effectively matches buyers and vendors from ‘moving on’ criteria such as where they want to live; the type of property they want to buy; and their budget.

Part Exchange Register is different because it is a property ‘matching tool’ for agents and developers rather than an advertising portal for the general public.

3. What attracted you to the property market?

I have sold property and moved house a few times in the past and I have always been interested in this process. Since the early beginnings of Part Exchange Register, I have been able to see behind the scenes – a day in the life of an estate agent - including the highs and lows.  It has been fascinating and I love the buzz of estate agency!

4. What do you love about the property market?

I love that the property market is a people business and everyone needs a home!  Buying a home is the largest expense that many of us face and property continues to be a major contributor to the UK economy.  It is dynamic, fast moving and you can never stand still.

5. What advice would you give to agents who have stock that has been on the market for some time?

I would advise that Agents explore all sales channels available to them to secure sales of their stock regardless of how long it has been on the market.
Part Exchange Register is a completely unique tool launched in January 2015 which offers Agents a sales channel previously unavailable to them.
Part Exchange Register is a tool to be used not only when stock has been on the market for some time but also as a sales channel for Agents to use with new stock avoiding issues with the length of time properties have been on the market.

6. How do you think the property market will perform in 2015?

That’s a tricky question as we have an election in May and that can have an impact on the future of the property market.
I can however say with certainty that Part Exchange Register is a tool that generates property sales during any market condition.  Agents who have made the business decision to register with Part Exchange Register will experience the benefits of utilising a new and effective sales channel during 2015.
