Monmouthshire now offers a two year discount rate for house purchase and remortgage at 1.39%, with a maximum LTV of 65%. The product is available for house purchase throughout England and Wales, with a £1,200 product fee.
The Society is also further supporting new build home buyers with the introduction of a range of Help to Buy - Wales mortgage range.
Help to Buy - Wales is available to first time buyers and home movers purchasing a new build home within Wales up to a maximum purchase price of £300,000.
The Society’s range includes a two-year fixed rate purchase product at 2.25% with a 3% early repayment charge. The product comes with a £150 application fee and a £995 product fee which can be added to the loan.
For those looking to remortgage, the Society is also offering a two-year discount rate at 2.30%, with no product fee, one free standard valuation and no application fee.
Existing Monmouthshire Building Society members can also take advantage of two rate switch products including a two-year Help to Buy - Wales discount rate switch product at 2.00%.
