In August, Graham Penny Auctions held its most successful Leicester auction to date in terms of volume of sales with more than 20 lots going under the hammer generating over £2.5m for clients. The team is now offering free appraisals for anyone interested in entering a property in its auction next month.

Carl Finch, branch manager at Graham Penny Auctions Leicester, commented: “Auctions can be a great place to sell all kinds of properties including those in need of refurbishment, a property with unique characteristics, a tenanted property or land and building plots.

We have several properties already entered into our next auction from those in need of refurbishment for owner occupiers to those ideal for multiple occupancy which will interest investors and landlords.”

Carl added: “Selling at auction widens the potential market; not only will there be buyers who want to make it their home, there will also be investors, developers and property dealers interested in buying. All our properties are extensively marketed online, via social media, in the local press and in our city centre office and our quality catalogue is mailed to thousands of potential buyers across the UK.

Plus, anyone with a requirement to sell quickly is likely to get a successful and speedy sale and, if necessary, completion dates can even be set sooner than 21 days.”
