The next Nottingham auction is taking place on Thursday 15th May at the East Midlands Conference Centre as part of the East Midlands Landlords & Lettings Agents Expo and is set to be Graham Penny Auctions’ biggest of the year with 53 varied lots from across Nottinghamshire and the rest of the UK set to go under the hammer.

Vejay Pal, senior valuer at Graham Penny Auctions Nottingham, commented: “Our catalogue this month has a great selection of properties on offer including residential property, commercial property, land and others. We knew the lots would receive a lot of interest and we’ve not been disappointed.

Our auction room is usually filled with around 250 people so to have 700 individuals expressing their interest in our properties by downloading the legal pack gives our vendors huge confidence going into Thursday’s auction. One investment property has received over 100 downloads and more than 70 viewings in the past fortnight.

The East Midlands Landlord & Letting Agent Expo is a free one day event set to be attended by over a thousand landlords, letting agents and property investors and will feature an extensive programme of seminars and speaker presentations alongside an exhibition of more than 70 companies from suppliers to professional advisors and local authorities.

Graham Penny Auctions acts for both private individuals and institutions selling a wide range of interests, from investment properties and vacant houses to building plots, commercial properties and others. In 2013 it secured more than £62.4m in sales for its customers and achieved an overall success rate of 84 per cent – 6.2 per cent above the national average.

Vejay added: “As our auction this month is taking place at the East Midlands Landlords & Lettings Agents Expo it’s no surprise that our investment properties are attracting significant interest, particularly those with existing tenancy agreements. The buy-to-let market is becoming increasingly active and I’m looking forward to some excited bidding in our auction room.”
