The auction – on Thursday 26 June at the King Power Stadium in Leicester – will see 20 lots go under the hammer including residential property, commercial property, land and others from across Leicestershire and the rest of the UK totalling over £2.2m in guide prices.

Carl Finch, Graham Penny Auctions Leicester branch manager, commented: “We have secured some great prices for our vendor clients so far this year and we’ve achieved particular success in Aylestone selling all of the properties we’ve offered.

“We have two residential and commercial lots in Aylestone in this month’s auction along with several other great investment buys with attractive guide prices which I’m sure will make for some excited bidding in the auction room.”

Going under the hammer in the auction on Thursday 26th June is 24 Lansdowne Road in Aylestone, two self-contained one bedroomed flats which would make an excellent investment thanks to the estimated rental income of approx. £8,500 per annum. The guide price is £75,000+.

Also for sale this month is 471 Aylestone Road in Aylestone, a spacious two storey commercial property currently let on a new three year lease at £17,500 per year. In excellent condition throughout, the property offers around 2250sqft of space with parking to the front of the property for five/six cars and a further outside rear yard providing further storage. The property offers excellent 8 per cent return on investment and there is excellent scope for future re-development subject to any necessary planning consent. The guide price is £225,000+.

With 21 auctions per year at the iPro Stadium in Derby, Nottingham Racecourse and the King Power Stadium in Leicester Graham Penny Auctions dominates the region’s house and property auction market in terms of lots offered, lots sold and revenue raised and continues to stay well ahead of its rivals across the East Midlands. So far this year Graham Penny Auctions Leicester has secured more than £4.8m in sales for its clients and achieved an average success rate of 75 per cent.

Carl added: “With the property market on the up there has never been a better time to buy at auction. Our traditional auction method involves only a £750 buyers fee for purchasers along with a 10 per cent deposit upon contract exchange in the auction room which guarantees the sale with completion only 21 days later.”
