The three combined catalogues, across the Graham Penny Auctions’ Derby, Nottingham and Leicester auction rooms, feature 132 residential, commercial and mixed use properties and development land lots.

The first auction, at the King Power Stadium in Leicester on Thursday this week (2nd October) saw 22 lots fill the catalogue with more than £1.7m in sales secured for clients. Later this month Graham Penny Auctions will be at Nottingham Racecourse on Friday 17th October with 45 lots on offer and then the iPro Stadium in Derby will host an auction on Thursday 23rd October featuring a further 65 lots.

Graham Penny, auctioneer at Graham Penny Auctions, commented:

“I’m delighted to have such a high level of residential, commercial and land lots for sale this month. It’s a true reflection of the success we have achieved so far this year; our lot numbers are rising across all three of our auction centres in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester and confidence is continuing to grow amongst property buyers who are travelling from all over the country to attend our auction rooms.”

Graham Penny Auctions dominates the region’s property auction market in terms of lots offered, lots sold and revenue raised and continues to stay well ahead of its rivals across the East Midlands. So far this year Graham Penny Auctions has secured £49.5m for its clients and achieved a 79 per cent success rate through 500 sales. Only last month it held its biggest auction in two years in Derby with a catalogue of 84 lots which secured more than £5.8m for clients.

Graham added: “We have seen a big increase in the numbers of lots being entered into our auctions, as well as the number of bidders in our auction rooms, which is in part thanks to the increased confidence in the East Midlands property market and also testament to our growing reputation in the region as the trusted auction experts.”
