The Cheadle-based business fought off strong competition from some of the region’s most highly regarded and fastest growing businesses to grab a place in the highly contested category.

Scott Hendry, director at Auction Finance, said:

“We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted in such a competitive category and delighted our business is being recognised amongst some of the most successful in the North West. As we celebrate ten years of lending this year, we’re seeing a significant increase in the appetite for property purchases at auction and, as a result, will continue to deliver flexible funding solutions for property professionals and auction houses.

We are committed to supporting the region’s economy by providing jobs and comprehensive training programmes. We’re looking forward to the awards ceremony and wish the best of luck to all the other nominees.”

Launched last year, the annual awards celebrate companies and individual entrepreneurs in the North West that are helping to boost the region’s economy by making a meaningful investment in enterprise, education and employment.

The awards dinner will take place on Thursday 18th September 2014 at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton.

Since 2004, Auction Finance has lent more than £120m to clients, which in turn has led to £250m of property being purchased through auction rooms across the UK.

Loans from Auction Finance typically vary from £20,000 to £3m, with an average loan size of circa £85,000. Funds can be transferred just 24 hours after completion. Auction Finance was recently named Supplier of the Year in the Products for Funding category at the Landlord and Letting Awards 2013.
